Acupuncture & Chinese Herbs

ACUPUNCTURE

Acupuncture, an ancient healing technique originating from traditional Chinese medicine, involves the strategic insertion of ultra-fine needles at specific points on the body to alleviate pain and enhance overall well-being. Despite their delicate nature, the needles typically elicit a gentle, grounding sensation rather than discomfort, making the experience one that is truly unique and remarkably beneficial.

SUPPLEMENTS

Herbal and dietary supplements are customized to each individual patient, based upon health goals and physical needs. Together, these supplements can be a powerful tool of transformation and can help you meet your health goals more quickly. They are administered in pill or tea form.  Lexy is equally trained in Chinese herbology as in acupuncture.

NUTRITION

Nourishment serves as the initial catalyst for well-being, embodying the philosophy that "food is the first medicine." Tailored to your individual constitution and health patterns, our Eastern nutrition therapy transforms every meal into a healing experience. Together, we'll craft a practical and enjoyable plan seamlessly integrated into your lifestyle.

AURICULAR ACUPUNCTURE

Auricular therapy is a specialized technique that harnesses the power of small ear needles to effectively address a wide spectrum of issues such as addictions, stress, trauma, and weight management. By tapping into the body's intricate microsystem, this approach necessitates regular sessions to foster enduring lifestyle adjustments and bring about lasting relief and balance.

MOXIBUSTION

Moxibustion (Moxa) is a warming method that uses compressed mugwort, a Chinese herb. The moxa is lit, like a bit of incense, and then held over acupuncture points to warm and heal the body.

CUPPING

Cupping is a method that uses suction to release muscles and reduce pain. Small glass or plastic cups are placed on the body and held in place with suction from a pump to help relieve muscle tension.

GUA SHA

This effective technique is renowned for its ability to release tight muscles, offering much-needed relief for individuals suffering from stiff necks, tight neck and shoulders, as well as locked muscles. By gently maneuvering a specialized tool across the skin, this method effectively targets and releases the muscular layer, resulting in tangible alleviation of pain and discomfort.
